Less than 3 months to go until the release of The Last Hunt!

I had a lot of fun writing and researching for this book, and I can’t wait to share this story with you soon!

Before it's release, I thought I'd share a little sneak peek with you!

Tanner felt a prickling sensation as his hair stood on end at the nape of his neck.

John Prescott didn’t die that day in the Frank Church Wilderness like he’d made the world believe. He was certain of that now.

“Mulholland!”

Tanner whirled toward the sound of the Fairbanks detective’s voice coming from outside the cabin’s open front door.

“I found something!”

Tanner extended the magazine remnant to Katrina. “Let’s bag this.”

The investigator nodded as Tanner hurried outside and rounded the side of the cabin. Tanner spotted Detective Morton’s salt-and-pepper hair and found him standing beneath a small carport beside a stack of kindling. Upon seeing Tanner, he motioned to a red five-gallon gas can at his feet.

“Found this behind the wood stack. It’s empty.” Morton extended his arm toward the edge of the covering. “This is just the right amount of space to house a snowmobile.”

Tanner scanned the stacked logs that comprised the cabin’s exterior wall. He had no doubt Prescott had been here. He could feel it.

His gaze fell to the gas can lying on the flattened grass. But if Cameron had killed her husband, then where was his body?

I’ll be signing at Readers Take Denver later this month. If you’re going, I can’t wait to see you there!
